We keep people safe through risk assessment, trained staff, safe equipment/premises, and clear emergency procedures.
Standards: UK H&S law; first aiders on rota; fire safety checks and drills; secure entry/exit; incident/near-miss logging.

 Zones & controls:

STEM: Low-hazard materials with children, PPE, emergency stops.

Sports: Inspected equipment, hydration guidance, weather checks.

Arts/Performance: Tidy cabling, no open flames unless assessed.

Gaming: Sanitised kit, breaks every 45–60 mins, age filters.

Reading/Tutoring: Anchored shelving, appropriate furniture.

 Trips & transport: Separate RAs, consent, verified providers, headcounts, first aid and phone per group.
